- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup whole milk

Instructions
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Whisk in the flour and mustard powder to form a roux.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
- Reduce heat, then stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted.
- Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni.
- If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top before serving.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, add a splash more milk if needed.
- Feel free to substitute with your favorite cheese variety.
