Mediterranean Ground Beef Pita Pockets are a delicious and easy meal option filled with seasoned beef and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 pita pockets
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned.
  4. Stir in cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Warm pita pockets in the oven or microwave.
  7. Fill each pita with beef mixture, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta, and tzatziki.
