- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Spices: paprika and Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- Season chicken breasts with paprika and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook chicken until done. Remove and shred.
- In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft.
- Add chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in shredded Monterey Jack cheese until melted.
- Combine cooked spaghetti and shredded chicken with the sauce.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly grated cheese for better melting.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
