Crispy on the outside and melty inside, these Mozzarella Fried Cheese Bites are the ultimate party snack or appetizer. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping!

- 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks (cut into 1-inch bite-size pieces)
- Vegetable oil (for frying (about 2–3 cups))
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Warm marinara sauce (for dipping)
- Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish (optional))
Instructions
- Freeze mozzarella pieces on a tray for at least 30 minutes.
- Set up dredging bowls: flour + seasonings, eggs, breadcrumbs.
- Coat cheese bites in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. Double coat for extra crunch.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry bites in small batches for 1–2 minutes until golden.
- Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with marinara and garnish as desired.
