Description

Neapolitan Cake is a delicious layered cake combining chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup softened butter (for frosting)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened, for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  5. Pour the batter into prepared cake pans.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cakes cool before frosting.
  8. For frosting, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  9. Add powdered sugar gradually and mix until well combined.
  10. Frost the cooled cake layers and serve.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
