- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- A few drops red food coloring (optional, for a pink swirl look)
- ½ cup crushed candy canes (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth.
- If using, add a few drops of red food coloring and swirl gently.
- Fold in the crushed candy canes.
- Spread the filling into the pre-made crust.
- Sprinkle extra crushed candy canes on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use a stand mixer for smoother cream cheese blending.
- Chill the pie for at least 4 hours to set properly.
- Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
