Ingredients

- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
- 1 large apple, diced
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish lightly.
- In a bowl, mix oats, milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold in the diced apple and nuts if using.
- Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set and golden on top.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use any type of milk you prefer.
- Swap apples with pears or berries if desired.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
