Ingredients

- 4 apples, thinly sliced (around 6 cups)
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar (for apples)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (for apples)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar (for topping)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix sliced apples, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Spread the apple mixture in a baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar, salt, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Add cold butter pieces and mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden and apples are soft.
Notes
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
