Description

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (plus extra for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add salt, milk, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Sprinkle additional nutmeg on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Let it cool before slicing and serving.
