- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Combine oregano, basil, parsley, kosher salt, thyme, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Store the herb mixture in an airtight container until ready to use.
- When ready to serve, heat olive oil in a small pan over low heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and stir in the herb mixture.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
