Description

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine oregano, basil, parsley, kosher salt, thyme, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  2. Store the herb mixture in an airtight container until ready to use.
  3. When ready to serve, heat olive oil in a small pan over low heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the herb mixture.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
