Description

A delicious pecan pie cobbler that combines the flavors of pecan pie with a soft, warm cobbler.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine granulated sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the melted butter to the sugar mixture and mix well.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then stir in chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and boiling water.
  8. Carefully pour the brown sugar mixture over the batter in the baking dish.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  10. Let it cool slightly before serving.
