Description

A delicious and hearty Philly Cheesesteak Bowl that combines tender steak, sautéed vegetables, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye, sirloin, or top round)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until tender.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the sliced steak to the skillet. Cook until browned.
  6. Top the mixture with shredded cheese. Cover until cheese melts.
  7. Serve in bowls and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
