- 1 whole Fresh pineapple (Sliced into rings)
- 2 cups Vegetable oil (Canola or coconut oil can be used for frying)
- 1 tablespoon Additional cinnamon and sugar (Adjust mixture to liking for dusting)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Dip pineapple rings in the batter.
- Fry the battered pineapple rings until golden brown.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Dust with cinnamon and sugar mixture before serving.
