- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Optional: walnuts, pecans, or chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, pumpkin purée, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed.
- Fold in optional add-ins like nuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
- Do not overmix the batter to avoid a dense texture.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
