  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix cake base ingredients and press into a greased pan.
  3. Beat filling ingredients until smooth and pour over cake base.
  4. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  5. Mix frosting ingredients until creamy and spread over cooled cake.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for smoother mixing.
  • Cool cake completely before frosting.
