Description

A light and fluffy cake made with fresh raspberries.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of angel food cake mix
  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. In a bowl, combine fresh raspberries and sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the angel food cake mix according to the package instructions.
  4. Add lemon juice and vanilla extract to the batter.
  5. Gently fold in the raspberries.
  6. Pour the batter into a tube pan.
  7. Bake according to the package instructions until golden brown.
  8. Cool the cake upside down in the pan.
  9. Once cooled, remove from the pan and serve.

  • Use fresh raspberries for best flavor.
  • Optional: Top with whipped cream for serving.
