Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring to the butter mixture. Mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set.
- Let them cool before serving.
Notes
- Ensure butter is softened for easier mixing.
- Use gel food coloring for a more vibrant color.
