Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, softened butter, eggs, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. Spread the sweet potato mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix the light brown sugar, flour, chopped pecans, and melted butter to create the topping.
  5. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
