Description
Delicious Samoa Rice Krispie Treats with a caramel and coconut topping.
Ingredients
Scale
- For the Rice Krispie Treats:
- 1/3 cup butter
- 5 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Caramel Crunch cereal
- For the Samoa Layer:
- 11 oz. bag of caramels
- 2 tbs heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups coconut
- 3 cups milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in cereal until coated.
- Press mixture into a greased pan and let cool.
- Melt caramels and cream in a saucepan, stirring until smooth.
- Spread caramel over the cooled Rice Krispie Treats.
- Sprinkle coconut evenly over the caramel layer.
- Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the top.
- Let set before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Use parchment paper for easy removal.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Substitute dark chocolate if preferred.
