Description

A hearty and comforting slow cooker casserole with tender steak, potatoes, and melted cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef steak (such as sirloin or chuck, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 large potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Add the diced potatoes, steak, onion, corn, beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce to the slow cooker.
  3. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Stir in 1 ½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and let it melt.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

  • Use fresh or frozen corn.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
