Description

This Snickerdoodle Cobbler combines the classic flavors of snickerdoodle cookies with a warm, buttery cobbler.


Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 ½ cups hot water
  • ¼ cup sugar (for topping)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and hot water until dissolved.
  7. Pour the brown sugar mixture over the batter in the baking dish.
  8. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  9. Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture over the top.
  10. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
