Delicious chocolate chip cookies loaded with diced Snickers for a sweet and chewy treat.

- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch salt, optional and to taste
- 1 heaping cup Snickers, diced small and loosely piled in measuring cup (or another variety of candy including M&Ms, Milky Way, Peanut Butter Cups, Rolo, etc.)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in diced Snickers and chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
- For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake them.
- Use room temperature butter for best results.
