  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons banana extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, 1/2 cup self-rising flour, softened butter, oats, and pecans to make the topping. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, whisk 1 cup self-rising flour, sugar, milk, banana extract, and melted butter to make the filling.
  4. Pour the filling into a greased baking dish.
  5. Arrange sliced bananas evenly over the filling.
  6. Sprinkle the topping mixture over the bananas.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
