Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or frozen, thoroughly drained)
  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat.

  5. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into strips.
  6. Place a spoonful of the spinach mixture on one end of each strip.

  8. Brush each twist with beaten egg.
  9. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • Use fresh spinach for the best flavor.
  • Frozen spinach should be well-drained to avoid a soggy filling.
