Ingredients

- 1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or frozen, thoroughly drained)
- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat.
- In a bowl, mix spinach, feta, cream cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into strips.
- Place a spoonful of the spinach mixture on one end of each strip.
- Fold the pastry over and twist it to seal the filling.
- Brush each twist with beaten egg.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use fresh spinach for the best flavor.
- Frozen spinach should be well-drained to avoid a soggy filling.
