- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz ramen or lo mein noodles
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes or 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
- 2 stalks green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for cooking)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the sauce mixture and cook until thickened.
- Toss in cooked noodles and mix well.
- Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes or sriracha if desired.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less chili flakes or sriracha.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
