Description

A delightful strawberry cream cheese cobbler that combines fresh strawberries with a creamy topping.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with ½ cup of sugar. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar.
  4. Add milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Distribute the strawberry mixture evenly over the batter.
  7. Dot the top with cream cheese cubes.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.
