Strawberry Frappuccino

Strawberry Frappuccino

  • Author: Emily
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • ½ cup vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup (plus extra for drizzle)
  • 12 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional, to taste)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Fresh strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Blender

  1. Add the frozen strawberries, milk, vanilla ice cream, ice cubes, and strawberry syrup to a blender.
  2. If you prefer a sweeter drink, add sugar or honey to taste.

Step 2: Blend Until Smooth

  1. Blend on high for 30–60 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. If the texture is too thick, add a splash more milk. If it’s too thin, add a few more ice cubes.

Step 3: Serve it Up

  1. Drizzle strawberry syrup along the inside of your serving glass for that classic look.
  2. Pour the frappuccino into the glass.
  3. Top generously with whipped cream.
  4. Garnish with a fresh strawberry or another drizzle of syrup if desired.

Notes

  • Make it Vegan: Use non-dairy milk, vegan ice cream, and coconut whipped cream.

  • Boost the Strawberry Flavor: Add a few fresh strawberries in addition to the frozen ones.

  • Add a Protein Kick: Mix in a scoop of vanilla protein powder.

  • Make it a Smoothie: Swap the ice cream for Greek yogurt and the syrup for fresh berries.

  • Frozen Strawberry Tip: If your frozen strawberries are large, thaw slightly or chop before blending for smoother results.
