Description
Delicious no-bake dessert balls made with Golden Oreos, cream cheese, and freeze-dried strawberries, coated in white chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, finely crushed
- 1 package (15.25 oz) Golden Oreos
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts
- Extra freeze-dried strawberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Crush Golden Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
- Mix softened cream cheese, crushed Oreos, finely crushed freeze-dried strawberries, and vanilla extract in a bowl until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the balls in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Melt white chocolate chips or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip each chilled ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring full coverage.
- Place coated balls back on the parchment paper. Sprinkle with extra crushed freeze-dried strawberries if desired.
- Let the chocolate set completely before serving. Store in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Use Golden Oreos for the best flavor.
- Freeze-dried strawberries provide intense strawberry flavor without added moisture.
- Chill the mixture before rolling if it's too sticky.
- Work quickly when dipping to prevent the balls from softening.
