  • 1 cup light corn syrup

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and salt for the pie crust.
  3. Add cold butter and sugar, mixing until crumbly.
  4. Stir in ice water until the dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough and place it in a pie dish.
  6. In another bowl, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, and vanilla.
  7. Mix in pecans and chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set.
  10. Let it cool before serving.
