Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cups Flour (all-purpose or mix of cake and all-purpose)
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips (semi-sweet or mixed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cream butter, brown sugar, and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

  • For thinner cookies, slightly soften butter.
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
