Classic Southern-style Vanilla Pecan Pralines are sweet, creamy, and rich with toasted pecans and vanilla. A perfect no-bake candy for gifts and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 7 oz evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup butter (cubed)
  • 11 oz vanilla or white chocolate chips (Ghirardelli recommended)
  • 4 oz marshmallow creme
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans (toasted recommended)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until bubbling. Boil for 4–5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat. Stir in white chocolate chips until melted.
  4. Mix in marshmallow creme and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Fold in chopped pecans.
  6. Drop mixture by spoonfuls onto parchment paper. Let cool 20–30 minutes until set.

Notes

  • Toast pecans for enhanced flavor.

  • Avoid overcooking to prevent graininess.
