Description

Crispy, cheesy onion ring chips seasoned to perfection for a delicious snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 3 medium yellow onions
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon seasoning salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice onions into thin rings and separate them.
  3. Toss onion rings with avocado oil, paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper.
  4. Spread grated parmesan cheese on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Place onion rings on top of the cheese, pressing lightly.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is golden and crispy.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
