For the Casserole:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni about 1 cup dry
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon mustard yellow or Dijon
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese plus more for topping if desired

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8x8 or 9x9-inch baking dish.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet; drain excess fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, broth, mustard, and chili powder; simmer 5–8 mins.
Mix in cooked macaroni until well coated.
Transfer to baking dish, top with cheese and optional toppings.
Bake uncovered for 20–25 mins until bubbly.
