Crispy on the outside and melty inside, these Mozzarella Fried Cheese Bites are the ultimate party snack or appetizer. Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping!

- 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks cut into 1-inch bite-size pieces
- Vegetable oil for frying (about 2–3 cups)
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Warm marinara sauce for dipping
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Freeze mozzarella pieces on a tray for at least 30 minutes.
Set up dredging bowls: flour + seasonings, eggs, breadcrumbs.
Coat cheese bites in flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. Double coat for extra crunch.
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry bites in small batches for 1–2 minutes until golden.
Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with marinara and garnish as desired.
