- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 6 burger buns halved
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- Optional: sliced pepperoni olives, diced bell peppers, or onions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
Stir in pizza sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
Place bun halves on a baking sheet, cut side up. Toast lightly under the broiler (optional).
Spoon meat mixture evenly onto each bun.
