- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers crushed
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional)
- Optional: ½ cup frozen peas corn, or diced carrots
- Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook and shred.
In a bowl, combine sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.
Stir in shredded chicken and any optional vegetables or seasonings.
Spread mixture into prepared baking dish.
In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers, Parmesan cheese, and melted butter.
Sprinkle cracker topping evenly over the casserole.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Let rest for 5–10 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
