Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts optional – walnuts or pecans

Instructions
 

  • Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment or butter it.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, melt sweetened condensed milk, butter, and chocolate chips, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla, salt, and nuts if using.
  • Pour into pan. Smooth top and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • Swap semisweet chocolate with milk, dark, or white chocolate.
  • Omit nuts for a nut-free version.
  • Add toppings like crushed candy canes or mini marshmallows for variety.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for 3 months.
